2010

Whoa, has it really been 3 months!?! Ok, New Year's resolution numero uno-blog more. :) It's been a crazy life lately, but good as always. I cannot believe that 2009 is gone, and that 2010 is here. CRAZY! But there's lots to catch up on, so here goes...

::FAMILY:: So I went home for Thanksgiving. It was great! I love home and my family and Thanksgiving so this trip was destined to be all good. My first day was spent helping my dad prepare for Turkey Day and then being the 'moral support' to my little sister getting a tatoo. Now I don't support tatoos but I do support my little sister. She turned 18 that Monday and had decided to get a tatoo, she'd been talking about it for a while and had planned it out and everything, and she's a pretty responsible girl (this is the same sister who got a 32 on her act..) so I told her I'd go along to be supportive because I knew it would hurt like h-e-doublehockeysticks... And it looked like it did. I was pretty proud of her though because I'm a big baby when it comes to pain but she took it well, we just had to keep talking to her to keep her mind off it. Fun stuff. Then it was Turkey Day with all the family. My parents are divorced so every holiday is a day full of each side of the family-First it was dad's side, then mom's. It was nice seeing everyone and getting full and just relaxing. Aaahh...So nice! Then Friday we did a little shopping and I met up with old friends. Saturday the whole family went to eat at Red Lobster for Michelle's b'day. YUM! And Saturday night we partied with my aunt and uncle playing poker--who knew I could play poker! I whipped them all! And then Sunday I flew back to Salt Lake. Whew. Oh and did I mention-I had a horrible head cold the entire week.....Yeah, fun.

::FRIENDS:: So this was my roomate Heather and I's first Christmas in our apartment. It was soooo fun! In early December we ventured out to get a REAL Christmas tree and totally succeeded. We got the best Christmas tree there ever was! And we decorated the whole house and it was all sorts of fun. We also got to do a couple other Christmas-sy things-We got to go to a Mormon Tabernacle Christmas Concert with Natalie Cole and we saw the lights at Temple Square and at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi. Fun stuff. Christmas Eve was the best, Heather and George (her boyfriend) got home from her parent's house around midnight and I had dozed off on the couch so when they got home I woke up and we were like little kids, we decided that since it was after Christmas we could legally open all of our gifts. :D And thats exactly what we did. Heather and George had gotten a Wii so we stayed up playing that until about 3 am. Best. Christmas. Ever. :)

Oh Christmas Tree!

::2010:: I'm pretty excited about 2010. It's even more excited that we're starting a new decade. Wow. And, 2010 marks my 10 year anniversary of being a member of the church too so thats pretty amazing to me. Where did that time go!?! Also, I am kind of obsessed with resolutions. I looove making them. Keeping them the whole year through is another story. But I've made a few already.... 1-Blog more. 2-Date more. 3-Get fit Haha, thats it. There's other things I started doing last year that I just want to keep up, like going to the temple weekly, and working out but hopefully those are already habits and not resolution material.

I think thats all for now. :) Happy New Year!
